The client suffered an accidental puncture to their central heating pipework caused by an errant screw, resulting in an active burst pipe. The customer acted promptly to isolate the main water supply, leaving the central heating circuit drained and requiring urgent specialist intervention to extract the punctured line before internal flooding worsened.
Arrived on-site within a 1-hour response window at Corfe Mullen. Inspected the screw penetration point on the central heating run and verified that electrical and structural elements were safe from water exposure.
Used high-powered wet extraction vacuums to clear out trapped residual water from the lowest points of the heating line. Neatly cut out the punctured copper section without compromising nearby runs.
Prepared and precision-cut replacement commercial copper pipework (spanning 15mm, 22mm, and 28mm specifications as required) and fitted heavy-duty brass compression and soldered fittings.
Refilled the central heating network, vented air locks across the circuit, and restored operational pressure. Ran full thermal and pressure diagnostic checks with the homeowner to confirm zero visible or hidden leaks.
