The Initial Investigation & Findings

Our plumbing engineer attended 73 Lady Bailey Residential Park, Winterborne Whitechurch, Blandford Forum, Dorset (DT11 0HS) to investigate a reported water leak originating from the main supply pipe feeding the washing machine.

Upon inspection of the concealed pipework, we discovered that the supply pipe had been severely damaged by rodent activity (rat), which had chewed through the pipe material and created a hole, causing an active mains-pressure leak.

Works Executed On-Site

Leak Investigation & Root Cause Identification

Main Water Supply Isolation

Temporarily shut off the main incoming water supply to depressurise the line and safely carry out the repair work without further water escape.
